Street Fighter V’s Latest Beta Changes Have Been Datamined
As expected from a game in beta, Street Fighter V has received a number of balance changes each time it was made playable. Now, with a final beta phase coming this weekend, many players are likely wondering how the game has changed since the last beta phase in December.
Luckily for us, Shoryuken regular Eternal, who many may recognize as helping run our wiki, has been able to datamine adjustments made in the latest beta patch. While these updates were pushed for the recent “tech test“, they also include changes for characters who weren’t playable in that test, indicating that they may also be for this weekend’s beta.
As for the changes themselves, they mostly represent fine tuning of the game’s cast, with changes to frame data, hitboxes, and damage. However, there are some pretty interesting trends, such as an overall damage and stun buff to throws as well as lots of damage buffs all around.
Those interested can check out Eternal’s forum post for the list of discovered changes. Take note, however, that all of these changes have yet to be confirmed.
