Skullgirls, Soulcalibur Added to Xbox One’s Backwards Compatibility Catalog

Major Nelson recently announced that Microsoft has added both Skullgirls (Encore) and Soulcalibur to the growing list of Xbox 360 games that are playable on Xbox One.

While the Xbox One backwards compatibility program has done little for the fighting game community since its announcement last summer, these titles hopefully mark a turning point. Skullgirls specifically benefits a great deal from this development, as it bypassed Xbox One when heading to current generation consoles.

A full list of backwards compatible games can be found here. Microsoft is still looking for feedback from fans on which titles should be added to the catalog on their official forums.
