General: The Time for Fallout Online is Now

Like many other gamers, November and December of last year saw most of my video game immersion happen in a single game: Fallout 4. As the end of the year brought on the usual annual reminiscing, I got to thinking about all the time I’ve spent playing in the Fallout universe since 1997, and how Fallout is one of the few game series I’ve played regularly over the last 19 years – a testament to its’ quality.

War Thunder: Thunder League Playoffs Begin

Gaijin Entertainment has announced that the playoffs in the War Thunder eSports League have now started. The fan-funded prize purse has reached over $40,000 and will be split among the participating teams. Funds are raised through the purchase of Dog Tags that expand opportunities to win prizes, rare items and more.

Genesis 3’s Finals Highlight the Best of Smash Competition

Last weekend, Smashers from the 64 era all the way up to its the series’ latest Wii U offering met up in northern California to throw down at Genesis 3. If you’re hungry for some more Super Smash Bros. action or just weren’t able to catch the event live, the folks at Showdown have uploaded enough footage from the tournament to sate even the heartiest of appetites.

Star Trek Online: Sixth Anniversary Event Begins, Set to Run Through February

Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have announced the commencement of the Star Trek Online sixth anniversary event. Players can look forward to server-wide giveaways, the annual anniversary event that will run from January 28th through February 24th, a brand new episode called Time & Tide, and a series of minigames to earn upgrades and a new science vessel.
