Desk Destroys More Health Bars in Street Fighter V

We’re a week into the life of Street Fighter V and Desk has continued to work his magic through a number of new video segments. We’ve included four of latest newest offerings below for your viewing pleasure.

While not the most combo-heavy character in the game, Zangief can pull off some impressive feats by wading through several blows before finally unleashing his own attacks. This first video involves plenty of armor and several different ways for the Red Cyclone to combo into grabs.

Desk dedicates this next video to the dreadlocked fighter, Necalli. While many of the combos presented in this bit of footage aren’t too far out of the ordinary, Desk does include a few cases demonstrating the character’s juggle potential that may raise some eyebrows.

Sometimes it’s fun to have a way to smack opponents around after their life bars have emptied. When it comes to this sort of postmortem pummeling, no one in Street Fighter V can top Birdie. As Desk demonstrates below, the grappler has a number of ways to waste everyone’s time after leaving a round victorious–for added troll points, of course.

Sure, regular combos are exciting, but what about mid-combo meaties? In his most recent bit of footage, the combo creator shows how a delayed cancel into a dragon punch can affect Ken’s combo potential.

We round this segment out with Desk’s aptly named “Weird Stuff” video. For the next few minutes, you’re going to witness some seriously goofy interactions including backwards parries, F.A.N.G extending his opponent’s combos, wacky hitboxes, folks rapidly wiggling under a hovering Dhalsim, and much more. You’ve probably run into some of these interactions before, but you’re certain to see something new here.
