With a certain Capcom title filling up most of the headlines, it can be easy to forget that there are other games out there that still have strong, dedicated followings. One such game is Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which has continued to thrive thanks to a passionate community that refuses to let the game die.

Marvel is the subject of this brand new combo video from TheKoreanDrifter. The exhibition itself focuses on style, using some unconventional setups and quirky interactions to pull off combos that wouldn’t normally be seen in a competitive match.

Another day into the life of Street Fighter V, another community roundup. We’ve received loads of footage from familiar names and newcomers alike, and we’ve compiled the best we’ve received for your enjoyment. It’s study time!

Today’s roundup leans heavily toward combos, and who better to get us started than Bafael? You’ve probably seen plenty of his work by now, but if you haven’t, this is a great place to start. We’ve included his newest three combo videos below, and you can head over to his YouTube channel to find the rest if your character didn’t make it into this post.

The folks at Hurtbox TV have been busy cranking out combo reels as well. Their newest videos include footage for R. Mika, Chun-Li, Nash, and Karin. We’ve included those four new videos below, but you can find combos for many other cast members on their YouTube channel.

Laura takes the stage next in a couple of videos featuring various technology with a peppering of combos throughout. The first video, from Meno Jazz, features a general breakdown of how to use Laura’s V-Skill before moving on to various frame traps and mixups. The second video, from vryu123, focuses on okizeme and resets, while offering some general tips as well.

Madscientist hit the lab (yep) and figured out some ways to activate Karin’s V-Trigger while setting up meaty hits. Additionally, a correctly-timed V-Trigger activation can lead to a safe jump against 4 frame dragon punches, as demonstrated.

But that’s not all of the new Karin footage! We’ve received a few combo videos for the fighter as well. Evilhoshi, Persona, and Pepopulo all get in on the action, showing off what they’ve discovered for the heiress. Most of Pepopulo’s video showcases combos for stylishly putting down opponents, so if you’re looking to add some flair to your Karin, their video is a great place to get started.

MrOrchazm and Indoimran of Vexoid UK offer up some Cammy combo options in the next two bits of footage. The former’s video focuses more on the reset and mixup options the Killer Bee brings to the battle, so if you’re planning to fight dirty, you’ll definitely want to give it a look.

If you’ve found yourself having issues when facing Vega, this next video from Hiya Maya may help you dispatch the masked fighter. Thanks to a deceptive animation, Vega’s toward fierce may be scoring him additional (safe) pressure when it shouldn’t. As you’ll see below, the ninja’s hurtbox lingers during the attack’s recovery frames and can be heavily punished.

For those of you who prefer playing as the clawed assassin, we’ve included a handful of combos from ClutchCombo as well.

Up next, THE COOL KID93 takes Rashid online to demonstrate his potential. There’s a heavy focus on V-Trigger tricks in this footage, so if you’re looking for a way to wrap up a round or score some exceptionally devious damage, be sure to give it a look.

Being able to confirm into damage off a Crush Counter is important in Street Fighter V. In some cases, these confirmations can involve hard reads that, if unsuccessful, land the aggressor in a heap of trouble. In the case of F.A.N.G, Chocobuny has discovered an option select using a combination of standing fierce, throw, and command dash inputs to make Bison’s second-in-command perform a command dash for combo extension only if the fierce results in a Crush Counter.

In this next bit of footage, Johnny Bravo takes control of Dictator to demonstrate over six minutes of combos. The video doesn’t incorporate any fancy effects or editing tricks, so viewers can expect to witness plenty of combos in their purest form.

To close things out today, we’ve got a beginner video from MetalMusicMan. To give an idea of how basic the guide is, viewers will learn about topics like how cross-ups work, how to perform charge moves, how throws function, and plenty more.

Coming in two parts, this pair of videos clocks in at just under the 20 minute mark, but if you’re brand new to the game, they’re definitely worth your time.
