Killer Instinct Season 3 Launches on March 29
It’s been a long time coming, but Killer Instinct fans finally have a season three launch date to look forward to: March 29. In addition to numerous gameplay changes, this third collection of content will introduce eight more characters, four of which will be available at launch. Players can expect to immediately get time in with returning fighters Kim Wu and Tusk as well as guest character Rash and the Arbiter, which more rolling out afterwards.
What’s more, March 29 also marks Killer Instinct’s arrival on PC, more specifically rigs equipped with Windows 10. Cross-platform play is possible courtesy of Xbox Live, and Xbox 360 sticks will be supported at launch. Xbox One stick compatibility is set to be added in a future update.
To tide you over until the end of the month, Microsoft and Iron Galaxy Studios have provided a number of assets depicting the initial launch cast. We’ve included Tusk’s intro and a handful of screenshots below, but be sure to check the official announcement for footage of the new Shadow move aesthetics, ultras, and more.
