Defiance: Standing on the Lore & Moving On with Dark Metamorphosis

Later today, Defiance will be updated with the Dark Metamorphosis update, a free content expansion for all players and one that will see a new zone, a great story-based quest line, new missions, new enemies and more. We had the chance to chat a bit with Trion’s Carble Cheung and John Hegner about Dark Metamorphosis and the future of Defiance.

Blade & Soul: Warlock Leveling Challenge – 3 Weeks to Rewards

When the Blade & Soul update, Unchained, goes live on March 2nd, the Warlock class will enter the game. NCSoft has issued a challenge to all would-be ‘Locks and other “under 10” characters: Get to level 45 by March 23rd and score a special upgrade bundle with the chance at the new Temptation costume.

General: Avalon Lords Base Game Site Now Live

The web site regarding the single player game that will provide the foundation for the upcoming MMORTS Avalon Lords, Avalon Lords: Dawn Rises, is now live. The site provides information about many of the mechanics and units that players can expect when the MMORTS is released at a later date. The single player game will be released on April 28th.

General: Trulon: The Shadow Engine Released on Steam

Head Up Games has announced that its steampunk RPG called Trulon: The Shadow Engine has officially launched on Steam. The story was penned by Shadowrun’s Jak Koke along with Trulon’s Johan Lillbacka. According to press information, the game features 100 NPCs, party mechanics, challenging puzzles, a large bestiary and more.
