Desk’s Birdie MegaMix Seamlessly Blends Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter V

A couple of weeks ago, Desk released a combo video mashup compiling footage of the only three (current roster) characters to appear in Street Fighters III, IV, and V. That video seamlessly blended footage from across the decades to show the similarities the characters retained through the titles, while providing a truly unique viewing experience through creative editorial work.

Luckily, that sort of video wasn’t the last of its kind, as Desk’s latest offering gives Birdie a similar spotlight. The video, which you can find below, takes a close look at Birdie’s appearances in both Capcom’s most recent offering, as well as the old favorite, Street Fighter Alpha 2, through comparisons of normals, specials, and combos. With all of this side-by-side footage, it’s easy to see that the years haven’t been kind to the food-loving punk rocker, but he’s still more than capable of putting opponents in their place, and that isn’t just Desk’s execution talking.

Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments.
