Harada Talks Tekken 7 at E3: Story Mode and Other Port Details

Tekken 7 has been out for over a year in Japanese arcades, but there is a lot of information left to glean about the eventual port to home consoles. At E3, GameSpot sat down with Harada and asked several questions, like how legacy controllers will–or will not–be supported. Harada’s answer implied they are making their own drivers, and do desire to make as many controllers work with the game as they can, but with so many on the market, it’s difficult to guarantee global compatibility.

Harada also goes in-depth about sections of the game’s story. He claims that it’s “unlike anything we’ve done so far,” and also hints at some closure to the Mishima story arc. He also goes into why and how Street Fighter’s Akuma fits into the central story.
