Smash Scenes Episode 1 Chronicles the Hawaii Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Scene
Smash Scenes, as we have previously touched on, is a documentary series about competitive Smash that focuses on scenes that usually don’t get a lot of exposure within the greater community. This is usually due to the lack of major competition, or big-name players rising out of those scenes. However, every scene has a gem, and creator Jason Russak seeks to find that wherever he looks within the Smash community.
This week, his first episode of Smash Scenes focused on Hawaii. While a tropical paradise, outside of James “CLG|VoiD” Makekau-Tyson, it is considered a very low level scene. This is primarily due to the distance of the mainland, and not being able to play some of the best players due to that. However, the players in Hawaii are looking toward developing their own skills in their own way. Want to see how? Check the video!
