Chun-Li’s Hurtbox Does Not Extend While Crouching in Street Fighter V
One mechanic that’s been in Street Fighter since way back in Street Fighter II is how characters’ hurtboxes would widen when crouching. This makes crouching, a relatively strong defensive position, slightly riskier as characters can much more easily be hit by their opponents.
This mechanic holds true in Street Fighter V, except for one character. As rizhall demonstrates in the video below, Chun-Li’s hurtbox does not extend when she crouches. This means that she can crouch and not get hit at ranges where other characters would be in danger.
This is an interesting discovery, and possibly another asset for a character who’s already considered by many to be the best in the game.

MagicScrumpy Super Smash Bros Melee Mod Roundup: Pikachu Printer, Long Names, and More!
One of the most active members of the Smash Bros. Melee modding community has to be MagicScrumpy, who is constantly fiddling with the game’s code to do all sorts of crazy stuff. Check out the last roundup we did of his videos, if you haven’t already.
The first video we have today is probably the most interesting video in the batch. MagicScrumpy somehow manged to transform Pikachu into a paint tool.
Scrumpy also fiddled with the names, usually restricted to four characters, and made them capable of holding much longer titles for characters.
To wrap this roundup off, we have more traditional Scrumpy content. There are specific mechanics or quirks about certain characters that are restricted to a small number of the cast; below, he added double jump canceling to every character, just to see what would happen.
