Here’s Another Round of Street Fighter V Season 2: Laura, Karin, Juri, Alex, & M. Bison

Still haven’t gotten your fill of Street Fighter V Season 2? Neither have we, so enjoy a fresh serving of hot new tech in this daily roundup!

Out of the top players in the Western scene, no-one is benefiting more from the changes in Street Fighter V this season than Wolfkrone. He stuck to his guns throughout Season 1 with Laura, and now he’s reaping the fruits of his labor with the buffs Laura received.

However, today we find him going up against one of the bright rising stars of the Western scene, ANBU|Punk. This Karin main has made waves, winning Northeast Championships and nearly making his way into Capcom Cup. In a clash between two of the top minds in American Street Fighter V, who wins?

While Alex received nerfs in the Season 2 patch of Street Fighter V, that doesn’t inherently mean he is down for the count. To be perfectly honest, he may come back in better form as the season moves on and people adapt.

Here are just a glimpse of the combos Alex is capable of in Season 2. This also features a few interesting setups based off of trades, which Alex can easily use to his advantage.

Here’s a nice new combo for Ryu that hits on crouching opponents. This combo utilizes the fierce punch special cancel that was added into the game.

A mainstay of these roundups has been Juri: not since her introduction into Street Fighter V have we seen this much tech for her, and perhaps not even then! This one features the various ways that she can safely cancel into V-Trigger.

Finally, here’s some new combos for the evil dictator M. Bison, who may be seeing his stock rise back to relevance in this update.

Want more? Believe me, there is plenty more where that came from–that we’ll be seeing tomorrow! Thanks again to everyone that sent in tips.

Anti-Air Options, Raging Demon Cancels, and More in This Akuma Roundup for Street Fighter V

The Akuma hype train shows no sign of stopping, as fans of the demonic martial artist continue to discover and showcase his power in Street Fighter V. In today’s roundup, we have match compilations from the likes of Tokido and hameko, some max damage combos, how to effectively use his anti-air options, as well as a way to cancel Akuma’s sweep animation into Raging Demon. There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get started!

Taking his old pal for a trip around his new hangouts, Tokido has been back on the online grind with Akuma, trying to train up his hopeful new main as the 2017 season of the Capcom Pro Tour rolls round. In this grand 21-minute match montage from DeadAceBS, Tokido fights against several other Diamond ranked players, including Rintarou and Chris Wong.

Next up, Van Diesel continues his extensive Akuma breakdown, by covering all of his anti-air options, including how to capitalize off of his three Crush Counter moves.

neekogaming has discovered that you can actually cancel the recovery frames of Akuma’s sweep into Raging Demon, should you hit an opponent’s block. It’s a very situational punish but could net you the round if done correctly.

If you’re looking for damage, phant om has you covered with a series of max damage combos for Akuma, ranging from meterless to three bar to V-Trigger three bar combos. If you’re looking to maximize your damage potential, jump into Training Mode and get these learned.

It’s Muscle Power versus the Assassination Fist as hameko faces off against DNG|Itazan in this online set.

Hoping to crack some of the secrets of Akuma, James Chen is joined by OlafRedland and CoryGunso in this hour-long lab session, devoted to learning Akuma.

And to finish off today’s roundup, RektScrub has brought together a series of Raging Demon finishes from players like ChrisG, MDZ|jimmy and subrin. Prepare to die one thousand deaths if you see one of these players pop V-Trigger.
