In probably the weirdest twist of a story ever, the Nostalrius team has posted a request to the Elysium “development” team to stop using the World of Warcraft code that it gave to them. The code and database file were released in fulfillment of a threat when Blizzard did not bring up the topic of legacy servers during Blizzcon 2016. However, it seems that Nostalrius admins have had a change of heart.

Koei Tecmo America and Gust Studios have announced that both Atelier Sophie and Nights of Azure will be receiving additional free content for the Steam PC versions of the games. There will also be a 20% bundle discount for players who purchase both games.
Sphere 3: Enchanted World – Forgotten Lands, Part 1, Content Expansion Released
Nikita Online has announced that Sphere 3: Enchanted World has been updated with its first ever content expansion called Forgotten Lands, Part 1. Players will be able to explore new zones, collect new gear, defeat world bosses and take a look at a new castle.
The Dwarves – PC & Console Patch Addresses Performance Issues
THQNordic and KING Art have announced the release of a new patch for its tactical RPG The Dwarves. The patch addresses a number of performance issues for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game. In addition, the patch fixed several smaller bugs.
Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 Announced, Welcoming Lone Samurai Baiken and Business Ninja Answer to the Cast
At the end of the Arc System Works Fighting Game Award 2016, the company made the following announcement: Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 is coming for the PlayStation 3, 4, and Steam.
A promotional trailer shows off two characters that will be added to the cast: “Business Ninja” Answer, who appeared in Story Mode and “Lone Samurai” Baiken, who also made an appearance in the narrative, as well as in the past Guilty Gear games. There will be additional Story Mode content, online play changes, and possible rebalancing for the cast.
Arc System Works doesn’t have a price point yet, but the company said it will make it “affordable” during the presentation. There will be a retail disc for the PlayStation 4 version, while PS3 and Steam will get it in form of DLC. REV 2 is expected to hit arcades this Spring.
On January 20th until the 22nd, location tests for REV 2 will begin.

In an all Mexican mega-fight, two-weight world champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) will fight former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (50-2-1, 32 KOs) on May 6.
The scheduled 12-round bout – taking place on the Mexican holiday weekend of Cinco de Mayo – has been contracted at a catchweight of 164.5 pounds. The venue is still to be determined but it looks likely to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
