Orcs Must Die: Unchained – Beefy New Update to be Released on January 17th

Orcs Must Die! Unchained will be getting a hefty update on Tuesday, January 17th. A trio of new battlegrounds are incoming for high-end players as well as a new leaderboard display during the fight on each map. Players will also receive three daily quests, one for experience, one for a chest and one for skulls. The store will feature rotating goods each day, three different bundles of cards, with six on Sundays. Bundles can be purchased with in-game currency (skulls).

Freeze Your Opponent with This New Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Dante Million Carats Loop

As the scene for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 continues to find its second wind, it’s not surprising that new tech and high-level match videos are surfacing in 2017. YouTuber and Marvel player DarkWingZEROX shared a SSStylish Dante video that loops the opponent to decimate their lifebar.

The combo utilizes Devil Trigger twice, and then loops Million Carats over and over on Ryu. Note that the first part is to get Ryu cornered.

In addition, check out this recent high-level match compilation from Flying High, featuring LOD JoeyD, Stax_OG, FasialDante23, and bblue15 on PSN, which showcases more Dante and a host of other characters.

Hit Opponents with the Force of a Hurricane: Ryu’s Tatsumaki Senpukyaku Meaty Setups for Street Fighter V

Spin to win with these meaty tatsu setups.

We’re now a few weeks into Street Fighter V’s second season, and the stream of updated tech isn’t slowing down. Ryu mains may be still feeling some ache from the blows of the nerf bat, but NurseLee is still here to help you follow your fist (into battle).

Here are Brackets and Translated Player Profiles for the Arc System Works Fighting Game Award Tournament

Later this week, Arc System Works is hosting a Fighting Game Award tournament: an event dedicated to supporting some of their best players and communities surrounding their games. Since our initial reports on this Guilty Gear and BlazBlue tournament, Aksys Games has clarified the event with information on the English stream, as well as translated the profiles of every participant.

The cast competing in BlazBlue: Central Fiction is as following:

While Fenrich is certainly a favorite to win, Ryuusei, a Carl Clover player, is after his head. Yutta plays Jin like Fenrich, and intends to show the results of his dedication to training. Minami and Souji (Izanami and Arakune respectively) can certainly make an upset, as both those characters have incredibly strong setplay–unless the two Carls lock them down first.

In Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, we have:

Machabo, Omito, FAB, Nage, and GZL|Koichi are some of the strongest and most well-known players on this list. T5M7 came out with a surprising win at Toushinsai, defeating the competition with his Leo Whitefang. While Machabo, who wants to dazzle us with a “flawless performance and win the tournament,” was crowned Evolution 2016 champion, Sin Kiske isn’t the same character anymore, and the game feels more even for the rest of the cast–Omito’s Johnny is in similar shoes, although he’s still incredibly strong.

Tune it to the event for top Guilty Gear and BlazBlue gameplay, and although there are no official hints at announcements from the company, it seems likely that we’ll hear something regarding the future of the two games. A recent interview from the producers suggests the event should be worth a watch.
