Two New ARMS Trailers Show Off the Capabilities of the Cast and Weapons

ARMS is coming very soon on the Nintendo Switch, and the FGC is still abuzz with curiosity about the combination shooter and fighting game. With an impending Spring 2017 launch, Nintendo of Japan has released two new trailers for the game that should give players more information about the upcoming title.

In the first trailer, we see the six different types of punches that can be used against your opponents. The types are fire, thunder, boomerang, revolver, salamander and big punch.

The second trailer goes over the five playable characters in the game: Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Ninjara, Master Mummy and Mechanica. They each have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, on display in the trailer. Bring a Fireball to a Gun Fight: Daigo Umehara and Gunfight Go Head-to-Head in Street Fighter V

HyperX’s Daigo “The Beast” Umehara and Alex hero Gunfight look very evenly matched in these Street Fighter V Ranked matches. Though they have different playstyles, one thing they have in common is how they seem to have adjusted to their main Street Fighter V characters’ respective Season 2 changes.

While Alex is considered by some to be a “dead” character due to his recent nerfs, in the hands of Gunfight the changes are hardly noticeable. The same can be said about Umehara’s character, who was also grazed by the nerf axe. Though the players’ strategies are subtly different, in this case it is difficult to tell whether their characters are objectively worse off.

Roughly 23 minutes of their clashes in Ranked are captured in the video below. Ryu and Alex mains who are struggling in Season 2 could benefit greatly from observing these top-tier character specialists!
