Frame 2:
Nature Will Rise Against You as Swamp Thing Joins Injustice 2

Now Injustice 2 really has my attention. Thanks to Alan Moore’s legendary run on the Vertigo title, the Swamp Thing is one of my favorite comic monstrosities, DC or otherwise. It looks to me that the game captures the spirit of the character well, and I’m looking forward to trying him out!

Frame 3:
Final Round 20 Will Be 2017’s First Capcom Pro Tour Premier Event

Registration is open online until February 24th, so there’s still time to make it into what’ll be the Capcom Pro Tour’s first 2017 Premier stop. And if Street Fighter V isn’t your favorite, there’s a strong lineup of other titles, of course!

Liked Bushido Blade? Make Chop Suey Out of Foes in “Slice Dice & Rice”

Why yes, I did like Bushido Blade… This new game’s title doesn’t quite grab me, but it looks to have strong potential in overall style and gameplay. Worth keeping an eye on.

Frame 5:
Is it Possible to Resurrect an Older Game with Esports? It May Be Easier Than You Think

SRK’s Zidiane gives us this reminder that the scenes for our games are what we want to make them, and older games don’t have to fade into obscurity if we choose to keep them alive.

Here come the girls indeed! With three new femme fatales confirmed for Injustice 2 on Valentine’s Day, could there be anything more romantic than beating the hell out of your favorite guys?

The Modern FGC vs. the Old Days–Get to Know Even More about Core-A Gaming’s Gerald Lee

It’s part two of SRK’s interview with the man behind Core-A, and this time things get a bit more personal. It’s always nice to get a glimpse of the person behind the mic, so this is one you don’t want to miss.

Frame 3:
New Seimitsu LS-300 Joystick Revealed, Now Available for Pre-Order

It feels as though Seimitsu have been falling behind over the past few months. The big releases have opted for Sanwa parts as standard, and so Seimitsu have had to make a big move, announcing a new joystick. I can’t wait to see how it feels hands-on.

Sometimes it can feel impossible to work out how to improve, but if you were ever wondering how to get better, just give this video from [A]rmada a watch. The depth of analysis and understanding he displays is genuinely fascinating and often educational.

Frame 5:
Sales of Kilgore Have Raised Over $50,000 for Killer Instinct’s 2017 Community Fund

Don’t be fooled by the fact that this is last on my list–$50,000 is a staggering number, and great news for those who will be fighting it out to claim their share of the prize. Massive shout-outs to the Killer Instinct Community for showing up in style.
