Persona 5 – Amazon Cancels Delivery Of A Pair Of Editions

Many fans who ordered their Steelbook or Take Your Heart edition of Persona 5 via Amazon have been in for quite a surprise. The company has sent out letters that indicated usage of dangerous elements in the editions which would require special transportation and cancelled orders for them.

Golovkin edges out Jacobs, Sor Rungvisai outguns Gonzalez

WBA/WBC/IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 34 KO’s) battled to a hard fought points win over WBA ‘regular’ titleholder Danny Jacobs (32-2, 29 KO’s) on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Golovkin’s knockout streak ended at 23 straight opponents as he was forced to go 12 rounds for the first time in his career.

Stalk your prey with this Mortal Kombat XL Predator combo video

The Predator may have first leapt onto the big screen in 1987–killing Carl Weathers in the process–but 30 years later, his death-dealing purpose and basic modus operandi remain the same. As such, his inclusion in the Mortal Kombat XL roster was a natural fit, and he turned out as a good character to boot.

In this combo video from Pir8, Predator goes through his Hish-Qu-Ten, Hunter, and Warrior variations, showing off his combo versatility in all of them. With some amazing use of his projectiles and grabs, Pir8 shows that you can get upwards of 50% or more on a combo, if it isn’t broken.

Street Fighter IV dives onto Xbox One backwards compatibility

The original Street Fighter IV is back!

Earlier this week, Xbox spokesperson, Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, announced that the Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter IV is now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Players can access the game by either inserting the Xbox 360 disc or by utilizing the “Ready to Install” section found in the “My games and apps” menu if purchased digitally.

While it is great to see Street Fighter back on the Xbox platform, it is unfortunate that the title available is not Ultra Street Fighter IV, the definitive edition of the game. Perhaps Microsoft and Capcom are considering bringing Ultra Street Fighter IV through backwards compatibility or a remaster after seeing the reaction to the addition of the original game.

Street Fighter IV originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 17, 2009 in North America with newcomer characters Abel, C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, Seth, and Gouken.
