This year we doubled down with two fake reports: an upcoming Street Fighter Alpha collection and an Extend update to BlazBlue: Central Fiction (despite promises to the contrary); looks like a lot of readers want both of these things–or in the case of Extend, some definitely do not want. Conversations & Fireballs: Michael Martin & BornFree discuss the Street Fighter V ELEAGUE preliminaries

With TBS’s ELEAGUE moving into the finals for their group stages, Yahoo! Esports’ Michael Martin thought that now would be a good time to talk about the preliminary stages of the event. In this new episode of Conversations & Fireballs, he does just that, discussing the preliminaries with his guest, Mark “BornFree” Sheridan.

As someone who’s been covering Street Fighter tournaments for a long time now, BornFree is one of the best people to talk about regarding the event. During the course of this discussion, Martin and BornFree cover a plethora of topics–including the the big surprises and upsets they saw at the event, the quality commentary, the rivalries (and how they were handled), Gootecks, and more.

With all of this to discuss, this episode of Conversations & Fireballs has been split into multiple videos. For those interested, we’ve embedded these videos below for your viewing pleasure.

TERA – TERA: First Look at the Valkyrie Class

Let me start by saying yes – I’d love for there to be a non-gender locked class or possibly at least a male class with all the new ones being released over the past couple of years. But that complaint aside, the Valkyrie is awesome. Only Castanic women can be a Valkyrie – a massive polearm wielding melee fighter.
