Learn your mixups with The King of Fighters XIV’s four newcomers

As you may know, The King of Fighters XIV received four new characters earlier this month. While these four characters are fan favorites and have shown a lot of potential, we still haven’t really seen much of them in high-level play, as players are still figuring out how to properly use them.

For those players who are looking to use them, Gatoray has put together a video showcasing the mixups that they can perform. The mixups in the video below run the range from simple things that the overall game system allows, to more unique setups based on the unique options that these characters possess. It’s a good watch for anyone thinking of adding any of these characters into their team.

Street Fighter V’s V-Reversals typically either push the opponent away with a grey-life attack, or move the defender away from (or though) the attacker via some sort of escape maneuver. Pokkén Tournament pro BadIntent breaks down the Shadow Mewtwo vs. Blaziken matchup

There are few people that can speak with authority on the subject of high-level Blaziken and Shadow Mewtwo, and even fewer that have successful tournament experience with either of these characters. Omari “BadIntent” Travis is an accomplished player of both characters, so there’s likely no one better-equipped to talk about a matchup between the two.

Though you could simply sum both characters up as “glass cannon,” BadIntent breaks down the intricacies of the footsie and strategy games going on between these two powerhouses. Street Fighter V servers down for unscheduled maintenance to remove Temple Hideout BGM

Capcom explains why the DLC was blocked from sale, and moves to replace the stage’s background music.

Street Fighter V players wanting to purchase the new Temple Hideout stage have been encountering issues, as the stage was removed from the Shop shortly after launch due to concerns over its background music track. Capcom has issued this statement:

It has come to our attention that part of the background music track used in the DLC Thailand Temple Hideout Stage, released on April 25, 2017, contains unintentional religious references. Capcom has therefore immediately ceased distribution of this DLC and, as a temporary measure, will be performing an emergency server maintenance update in the very near future to remove this track by replacing it with existing music from another stage. Details of the timing of this update will be provided via the @SFVServer Twitter account.
 
Users who have already downloaded this DLC will still be able to use it and, once the emergency maintenance update is complete, will have the replacement music as well.
 
An edited version of the Thailand Temple Hideout Stage background music will be released at a later date.
              
The Street Fighter V development and operations team, as well as all of us at Capcom, have nothing but the utmost respect for all faiths and religions around the world, and we would like to sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by this content.

The Street Fighter V servers have been taken down presently for maintenance to address this issue as described above. No information on when the edited music track will be ready has been yet provided.
