Prove yourself online: Red Bull Proving Grounds’ May online qualifier is open for registration

Want in on the Proving Grounds, but too far from a regional qualifier? Here’s your next shot!

Street Fighter V competitors that want to join the fight in Red Bull’s Proving Grounds series–but don’t have ready access to one of the eleven regional qualifying stops–can test their fists in the online qualifier instead. At the close of the Spring season, the three winning contestants (the highest scores from the online tournament) will be flown to the Red Bull eSports Studio in Santa Monica, to compete in June’s Red Bull Proving Grounds finals. Top 8 from the finals will earn a trip to compete in Las Vegas at Evo 2017 in Las Vegas.

Danger Room 2017 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 player voting is now open

One of the most unique events on the Curleh Circuit is Danger Room 2017. This summit-style event will see half of its roster getting in through fan voting.

Currently, sixteen Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 players have been pitted against each other in a vote to determine the four that will make it to Danger Room 2017. These players are Ahn eSports’s Eddie “Not Enough Damage” Mu, Ronan Healy, Jonas “Raid” Martinez, Brandon “Staticalpha” Stewart, Christopher “imashbuttons” Lent, Esteban “TA Wolf” Wolf, Kyle “KyleP” Palsson, Circa’s Gabriel “Jibrill” Lam, InC’s Cole “Flux” Tocci, Vineeth “Apologyman” Meka, Ramsel “Rambam” Gonzalez, Stefan “SJ” Johnson, Javier “IHeartJustice” Funes-Morales, Joey “Joey D” D’Alessandro, Cole “YLT Cole” Diamond, and Eliver “KillerKai” Ling.

Four of these players will earn the right to face Raynel “RayRay” Hidalgo, Misfits’s Armando “Angelic” Mejia, Kevin “DualKevin” Barrios, and the Evo 2016 champ: Evil Geniuses’ Christopher “NYChrisG” Gonzales, at Danger Room 2017.

Dedicated fans can purchase merchandise which will unlock votes that they can spend supporting their favorite players. In addition to this, players who paid to enter certain Curleh Circuit events also get votes.

Elimination starts this Monday, April 24, where the bottom two players will be taken out. This will happen again on April 25. On April 26, the player leading the voting will get an invite to Danger Room 2017, while the bottom three are taken out. The same will happen on the April 27, completing the list.

Danger Room 2017 takes place on May 12 to 14.
