Blizzard has altered a somewhat controversial Overwatch competitive mechanic implemented last week in the v1.10 update. Designed to reduce the number of ties in competitive game play, the update required one team to “fully capture one more objective than your opponent” in order to win. This did not sit well with players and Blizzard admitted that it had “received a tremendous amount of feedback” (i.e. lots of forum crabbing). As a result, the mechanic has been changed to something simpler.
Early information on Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]’s new character, Enkidu
Under Night In-Birth players have been eagerly awaiting an announcement regarding the current arcade version, and we finally know that UNIEL:Late[st] is coming to consoles this summer. Famitsu magazine posted a scan of their coverage, breaking the news that another new character is joining the roster: Enkidu.
Enkidu is a martial arts fighter who purposefully gets bitten by the Void to become an In-Birth. There’s an initial translation of the page which runs through Enkidu’s story background as well as some of his special attacks:

Additionally, according to Tokkan, this version of UNIEL is getting a proper Story Mode, called “Chronicle Mode,” with reportedly about ten or more hours of content.

Elder Scrolls Online – Morrowind PTS Patch Notes Released, Controversy Sparked
The flames of controversy are swirling around the Elder Scrolls Online forums thanks to today’s release of the Morrowind PTS patch notes. Of particular concern to many players are the large changes being made to resource management and the effect it will have on some classes. Developers argue that resource management has become “trivial” and that certain classes have “nearly infinite sustainability while still being fully maximized for damage”.
BlazBlue: Central Fiction is officially releasing on Steam on April 26th
Great news for those who were holding out on a PC version of Arc System Works’ latest installment in the BlazBlue series: Central Fiction, as rumored, is indeed releasing on Steam, and it’s much sooner than we expected. The PC port by H2 Interactive is coming out on April 26th.
The BlazBlue: Central Fiction Steam page is available and displays some information. This digital release includes some bonus content: the original soundtrack and the Memorial Book. Other than that, there’s nothing particularly surprising revealed so far. BBCF does include netplay, just like PC Chronophantasma Extend. As for DLC characters, the description says they “join to bring the total to 35 characters,” so it seems that Es and Mai Natsume are possibly included for free. Price details are unknown.

Brainiac’s invasion of Earth begins in the final Shattered Alliances trailer for Injustice 2
NetherRealm Studios have released the final Shattered Alliances trailer for Injustice 2, finally revealing the big bad Brainiac. After destroying Krypton and most of the Kryptonian race, Brainiac descends on Earth to eliminate Superman, Supergirl, and then the entire planet. With an extraterrestrial entity threatening to destroy the world, this finally gets all the superheroes–and maybe even some supervillains–to join together to kick Brainiac back into space.
There are only brief glimpses of Brainiac’s fighting style in this trailer, with him using a combination of his robotic tentacles and bio-mechanical drones in battle. We’ll no doubt get a dedicated character intro trailer in the next few days, showing off Brainiac in all of his glory. With the release date of Injustice 2 fast approaching, his introductory trailer will probably be the last, besides one for DLC character Darkseid–and possibly the Joker, if the rumors are true.
