SKDale helps you pick your main ‘mon for Pokkén Tournament

Want a piece of that $10k floating around for Pokkén Tournament events, but not sure who your starter Pokémon should be? SKDale, a top Pokkén Tournament player from the Pokkén Nebraska scene, has put together a simple guide for picking your main.

Aimed at players of all skill levels, the video does a great job of breaking down some obvious methods (i.e. Pick the coolest looking one! Play the game with all of them!) and more nuanced discussion related to top play. There’s a great list near the end of high level U.S. tournament players to watch for every character, and a breakdown of the main goal of each character’s overall game-plan.

Is BlazBlue: Central Fiction is coming to PC soon? Yes, according to a Korean rating board listing

Good news for those who have been eagerly waiting for a PC version of Arc System Works’ 2D fighter. BlazBlue: Central Fiction, currently available for PlayStation 3 and 4, should be coming to PC soon–pending an official company announcement.

Twitter user Gatoray found that a Korean game rating board (similar to the USA’s ESRB) has listed BlazBlue: Central Fiction. The web page lists a few reasonings for its 15-year-old an up rating, but clearly marks the post for “PC.”

A while back, we’d also uncovered that a Steam database listed the PC version of BlazBlue: Central Fiction. It’s unknown whether Arc System Works is planning anything special for the computer version (or the console version, for that matter). The latest version of BlazBlue on Steam is Chronophantasma: Extend.

On of the surprises from the latest Nintendo Direct was the news that Nintendo actually hadn’t forgotten about the last three amiibo due for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U–even if the delay has been ridiculous. Nintendo is doubling up on these three characters–but they’re also back to their retailer-exclusivity shenanigans, unfortunately.

Now titled “Eternal Successors,” producer Michael Latham has released some character renders for his proposed sequel to the Sega Genesis fighter Eternal Champions. Created in Unreal Engine 4, these renders try to match the original artwork by the late Ernie Chan.

Frame 5:
ARMS min minNintendo announces a new fighter and a June 16 release date for ARMS

In their latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo not only announced the new fighter Min Min for ARMS, but that the long-limbed fighter will be releasing on June 16. They even showed off a quick glimpse of ARMS’ 2v2 mode, promising some manic team combat.
