See what Tekken 7’s Rage Arts look like without the dramatic camera angles

I am forever fascinated by what elements of a game look like when disassembled. So much of the punch and power of Tekken 7’s Rage Arts (and any super move in a modern fighting game, really) comes from expertly-placed camera work. When you replace the cinematic camera with a fixed angle, however, you get to see the shortcuts and tricks developers have to do to keep the action readable.

More combos for Ed, Street Fighter V’s Young Commander

Some more Ed tech to help you work on that Psycho-boxing.

Ed’s still the new kid on the Street Fighter V block, with mixed opinions on his effectiveness and playability. If you’re looking to pick up the “nimble boxer,” here’s some videos that might help convince you to try him out–or to stick with him, if you already have!

Gamewisk shows off a variety of Ed’s abilities in this video, starting with confirms from light buttons, and covering some fun V-Skill, V-Trigger, Crush Counter, and corner combos as well:

Tekken 7 tops the UK sales charts for the first time since Tekken 3

Beating out Injustice 2 as the best selling fighting game in the UK, Tekken 7 has climbed the ladder to top the UK sales charts on its week of release. Beating other titles like Overwatch, Fifa 17 and Prey, a Tekken game has not reached the top of the UK sales charts since 1998, when Tekken 3 reached the top for the original PlayStation.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 got close back in 2012, earning second in the charts behind Sleeping Dogs, while Tekken 6 only managed to reach number eight when it launched in 2009. It will now be quite the battle to see if Tekken 7 can hold that top spot for more than one week, and if Injustice 2 will be able to keep its position within the UK top ten.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers also managed to get within the top ten during its first week of sale, but it has since plummeted to 34th place on the charts–just above such heavy hitters as Minecraft: PlayStation Edition and Farming Simulator ’17.

The Miramar Mix-Up brings a Street Fighter V first-to-five to Florida on July 9, 2017

If you’re looking for some Street Fighter action in Florida on the weekend before Evo, Miramar’s got you covered.

The Miramar Mix-Up is an upcoming Street Fighter V one-day tournament in Miramar, Florida, to be held at the Vernon E. Hargray Youth Enrichment Center, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on July 9. 2017. The event will be double-elimination with first-to-five matches, and entry is free! (Spectators pay $1 to get in.) Participants must be 16 or older, and it’s recommended that you bring your own controller.
