The hardcover book — collecting issues 9-12 of the original comic series, depicting the climactic battle between Gill, Ryu, and Akuma — will cost you $20.39 USD (down from $29.99 USD) on Amazon, with a listed ship date of January 9, 2018. Never drop the blue stuff with Novriltataki’s Tekken 7 Windup Uppercut tutorial
Though officially listed as the “Windup Uppercut” in the Tekken 7 command list, the just-frame version of Jack-7’s combo filling uppercut is generally (and amusingly) referred to as the Electric Mecha God Fist (or EMGF) in the Tekken community. While not at all critical to the robot’s neutral play (EMGF’s just-frame blue spark is purely cosmetic and changes nothing about its frame data), it is the highest damage Jack can get in select situations. And it’s flashy. That’s important, yeah?
For the situations where learning EWGF can beef your combo damage up, such as off of FF+1, novriltataki has created a great tutorial video. In it he walks you through the input, and a few tricks to understanding why you might be having trouble with it.

Luis Nery failed drug test for Shinsuke Yamanaka fight
Mexico’s Luis Nery (24-0, 18 KOs) failed his pre-fight drug test ahead of his world title win over long-reigning WBC bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (27-1-2, 18 KOs) earlier this month at the Shimazu Arena in Kyoto, Japan.
Nery, 22, tested positive for the banned performance-enhancing drug Zilpaterol, according to the World Boxing Council.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said that no dcision has yet been made on the status of the WBC title.
Nery stopped Japan’s Yamanaka, 34, in…
