ARMS version 3 update will release with new character: Lola Pop

Nintendo has been proactive in updating ARMS, and just released more information at Gamescom following the teaser that was released earlier in the month.

Arriving soon to the game is a new character, named Lola Pop. She is a clown who is her own inflatable balloon animal. When she inflates, she can use the balloon for defensive options, as shown in the trailer.

While there is no actual date of release for the character yet — Nintendo says “soon” — she will be released with the version 3 update.

Gigantic – Motiga Unveils New Map Called Wizard Woods

Perfect World and Motiga are on hand at this week’s Gamescom to reveal a new map called Wizard Woods coming to Gigantic soon. As the name implies, screen show off a forested area, starter locations and some of the ‘lanes’ in between. Check them all out after the jump.

Maximilian shows off more Gamescom build Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite matches

As with the previous Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite footage Maximilian has uploaded from his time visiting Capcom at Gamescom, the video below features matches from the Gamescom build, but without any “new” characters shown at the event. That said, the video does showcase some characters who we haven’t seen much of in other videos. So anyone looking to see Arthur’s improved ground game, or Ryu’s grown man damage, should give the video below a watch.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19.

– Smilegate Stops SkySaga: Infinite Islands Development

It looks like developer Radiant Worlds is in for a massive round of layoffs after publisher Smilegate Entertainment made the decision to stop development of SkySaga: Infinite Isles for an indeterminate amount of time. Radiant Worlds clarified that the failure to renew the contract with Smilegate causing the inevitable shutdown of production on SkySaga. “All positions at Radiant Worlds are now under threat and we expect to shortly enter a period of consultation with all staff.”
