Nissin Cup Noodles is now sponsoring monthly Dissidia Final Fantasy: NT livestreams

If you were watching the Dissidia Final Fantasy: NT tournament at the 2017 SoCal Regionals this past weekend, you probably caught a glimpse of some Nissin Cup Noodle product-placement on stage. Though cup noodles and Final Fantasy may seem like an awkward juxtaposition of Japanese exports, it has been announced that Dissidia Final Fantasy: NT developers and Nissin Cup Noodles have officially forged a partnership.

What was witnessed at SoCal Regionals was a segment now known as 3-MINUTE WARM-UP, where commentators prepare a cup of noodles and answer Dissidia-related questions via a livestream — while they wait for their instant meal to finish cooking. Part of the announcement of this partnership is the news that these Dissidia streams are sponsored by Nissin Cup Noodles, and will be a monthly thing, with the next one taking place at this year’s New York Comic Con happening in October.

This partnership comes as less of a surprise to Final Fantasy fans already familiar with the appearances Nissin’s brand has made in Final Fantasy XV — there is even a special line of Final Fantasy noodles.

Runescape – RuneFest ’17 – Old School RuneScape Interview

As something of an oddity in today’s world of AAA MMORPGs, Old School Runescape doesn’t always get the credit it deserves. Taking an old copy of the Runescape legacy code, Jagex resurrected a long forgotten world. Now this old dog is about to show off some fancy new tricks. We got some time to chat to John Colgrave at Runefest about what’s new in Runescape Old School.

Not just another Tuesday: Check out tutorials, matches, and fancy combos in this Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite roundup

Today may be the most important day of your life — or it may be just Tuesday — because the community hasn’t slowed down one bit when it comes to putting out more videos for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. In this roundup, we have a number of combo videos, as well as tutorials, and some actual matches from top players.

First up, we have a couple of tutorials by Andrew G. The first tutorial focuses on his Dolphin kick loop. Unlike most other flight mode dash cancel loops, Nova’s Dolphin kick loop is a bit harder since players can’t abuse the input priority system and simply hit light punch and heavy punch repeatedly to get the loop. Additionally, the combo can change depending on the height that of the opposing character, so players will have to adjust their air dashes from up forward to plain old forward.

Next up is this tutorial for Iron Man’s “Stairway to Heaven,” flight cancel air dash loop.

For something more focused on actual matches, PND’s Ketchup & Mustard have started recording some videos of their online sets in the game.

Meanwhile, YogaFlame24 has put together match compilations for two of the most exciting players at SoCal Regionals 2017 — Splyce’s Filipino Champ, as well as Richard Nguyen.

In addition to this, they’ve also shared a video with some matches between the American hero LI Joe, and Echo Fox’s SonicFox.

Moving on to combo videos, Novril has shared a combo for Captain Marvel that’s specifically designed to be easy to do — not requiring fly cancelling into her air dash loop — but still damaging enough to be a practical bread-and-butter combo for her.

Zade Ramzi on the other hand has shared a bread-and-butter combo for everybody’s new favorite Darkstalker: Jedah. The combo uses multiple instant air version of his Dolore Oscuro (quarter circle forward kick) by using tiger knee inputs, which can be a bit tricky for some players.

Meanwhile, GetKype uses well timed air heavy punches after Dolore Obscuro to get relaunches and extend his damage.

For those looking for something fancy for Jedah, JimmyBones has demonstrated this 8000 plus damage combo that uses the Reality Stone’s Infinity Storm.

Speaking of Infinity Storms, Olaf Redland has shared with us this Zero combo that uses 3 level 3 Hyper combos, alongside some help from Dormammu and the Mind Stone.

Last, but not least, desk demonstrates how good the Soul Stone can be in the right hands, with this combo showcase built around combos using two characters at the same time with its Infinity Storm.
