First footage of Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 version 2.1 matches, from Mikado’s Joniosan

It’s that exciting time again for Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 players. The latest patch just hit arcades in Japan, which means that fans around the world are rifling with anticipation for match footage and discovery of the changes in action. The REV 2 2.1 patch, which applies the same changes as we saw in the loketest patch notes, changes quite a few things for the majority of the cast.

You can find plenty of famous Mikado players in the four-hour clip below. Nage’s Faust and Ain’s Ky battle around the 1:58:00 mark, so make sure to catch some of the new Faust changes, which include more flower power than ever before. FAB’s Potemkin also joins in, and later on, Kedako’s May makes an entrance around the 3:12:00 mark. You can also spot a new corner combo from Chipp at 1:53:00 or so — which takes him out of the corner, but it doesn’t mean he’s out of options. Raven’s changes are also quite exciting, as he has many new combo possibilities and some tuning to his mechanic.

Who’s it gonna be? X-Kira datamines an extensive list of characters from the Dragon Ball FighterZ code

Well-known dataminer X-Kira has uncovered quite the treasure trove of info within Dragon Ball FighterZ’s code recently. As per X-Kira’s usual operation, they dig through the data looking for tags and placeholders for game modes, characters, and other features that are to be loaded into the game in a future patch.

Upon their most recent dig X-Kira surfaced a massive list of characters that currently have no place in the game. This extensive list includes potential playable characters, along with ones that may just be referenced for story purposes in future updates. X-Kira believes that the actual list of playable DLC characters includes over 20 of the characters mentioned below. Is DBFZ going to eventually have a roster size to rival that of CvS2 and MvC2? VesperArcade offers a full breakdown of Blanka’s reveal trailer for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Blanka’s reveal came as birthday surprise for all of us, but with his sudden trailer and release next week, we got a lot of information on the changes to the character since his last appearance in Street Fighter IV.

In his video breakdown, VesperArcade looks at all the tools afforded Blanka in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. He shows how Blanka’s Coward’s Crouch V-Skill is comboable into and out of, something Blanka has never been able to do. He also discusses Blanka’s V-Trigger I and II, looking at their combo and mix-up potential.

There have been rumors flying about Disney possibly pulling their contract with EA lately after much of the controversy with Star Wars Battlefront 2. The loot crate debacle continues to plague the game world and EA could be seeing a huge hit from one of their top franchises. So, let’s say for example, that Disney pulls their license from EA within the next year, what does that mean for Star Wars games?
