Catch amazing old school Vampire Savior action from Makai World Cup 2018 in this highlight reel

If you are a Vampire Savior player, Makai World Cup was the place to be this weekend. The East Coast tournament attracted some of the nation’s best Vampire Savior players, as well as some strong competition for Super Street Fighter II Turbo and Windjammers.

As a result, the tournament had no shortage of hype moments, including an amazing match between MightyMar — the low tier Anakaris specialist — against Sev’s Bishamon. Luckily, we have this amazing highlight reel to show off a taste of what was on offer at Makai.

Overwatch – Brigitte Joining the Fight on March 20th

The newest Overwatch hero, Brigitte, will be joining the in-game fight on March 20th. The announcement was made today via the Overwatch Twitter, that also features a cool video of the character being taken from concept art to “finished product”. Ben Zhang is the talented artist behind her design.

Akuma can use his dragon punch to option select punish strings in Tekken 7

Do you love option selects? Are you looking to make your Akuma better in Tekken 7? If you answered “yes” to both of those, then HQRubbish‘s new technology for the guest-starring Street Fighter might interest you:

In the example above, Akuma is able to punish every single option off of Paul’s ff+2, including the ff+2 by itself. Theoretically, this would work versus any unsafe starter that leads to a string with fast high/slower mid enders.

Akuma also is able to use EX DP to blow up some strings other characters cannot, thanks to its invincibility on frame 1. In general, stance and string-heavy characters need to approach the Akuma match-up differently if they intend to survive versus a savvy Goshoryuken user.
