Darkstalkers premium costumes arriving for Menat, Juri, and Urien in Street Fighter V next week

Darkness descends on Street Fighter V next week with three new Crossover Costumes.

Capcom revealed today that three more SFV fighters would be receiving the Crossover Costume treatment: this time, the world of the Night Warriors intersects with Street Fighter via Darkstalkers premium costumes for Menat, Juri, and Urien.

Urien dons the garb of Darkstalker-hunter Donavan, Juri is transformed into the lively succubus Lilith, and Menat dresses up like Anakaris’ partner Khaibit.

Your Fight Money won’t be taking another hit from these ones — they’re not going to be offered through Extra Battle mode challenges, but instead will be directly-purchasable DLC content. These outfits are scheduled to arrive next week — on April 3rd — and will cost the usual $3.99 USD each. Dragon Ball FighterZ datamining hints that Fused Zamasu could be the next DLC character

With the latest Dragon Ball FighterZ update that arrived on the 16th, it didn’t take long for dataminers to roll up their sleeves and get to work uncovering any new secrets Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arc System Works may have added to the game’s code for release in the future.

That brings us to a recent discovery by Mizumi. Previously, we reported that a list of placeholders for future Lobby Avatars for characters not currently in the game may have revealed the identities of the eight DLC characters contained within the FighterZ Pass, which included the soon-to-be-released Bardock and Broly. Now, we have more evidence that a certain infamous foe from Dragon Ball Super could possibly be the next to arrive.

Though a model for Future Trunks’ Sword of Hope has existed in the game since launch, the latest patch has added a myriad of new textures and effects for the time-traveling Saiyan warrior, including a “Body Aura,” as well as pair of new textures — one blue and one purple, which could be for Merged Zamasu’s Violent Fierce God Slicer attack, implying that Future Trunks will be able to trigger a new Dramatic Finish when he defeats Fused Zamasu on the West City stage. You can see the full video below, as well as the scene of Fused Zamasu’s defeat in the anime for the sake of comparison. It will be interesting to see if Wednesday’s Bardock and Broly patch adds any additional files that could further point to this pair’s potential arrival in the future.

If Bandai Namco stick to a pattern of releasing fighters in pairs, the rumors would suggest that SSGSS Vegito would be arriving alongside Zamasu.
