Souls and swords clash in this SoulCalibur VI pre-release exhibition tournament footage from Final Round 2018

While games such as Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Tekken 7 were the main focus of Final Round 2018, Bandai Namco’s upcoming SoulCalibur VI also had a presence at the event. As part of such, a pre-release exhibition tournament was held at Final Round XXI: this allowed players to show off what the game may look like in high-level play.

For those who missed the exhibition tournament on the stream, Bifuteki has now uploaded the footage from the stream onto their YouTube channel. The footage consists of a half-hour-long video, with all of the matches included.

Fortnite – Battle Royale’s Blitz Mode Now Available

Fortnite Battle Royale players on all platforms including Apple mobile devices can how check out the newly added “Blitz” mode that brings quick 15-minute battles into the game. The “storm circle” begins shrinking very quickly right from the get-go. Players can find all sorts of gear and high-end weaponry as well as more than double the amount of resources including loot boxes, treasure chests and more. Supply drops occur more frequently too.

– Amazon Announces GameOn, a Cross-Platform Competitive Gaming Service

Amazon has announced a new series of flexible APIs for developers. Called GameOn, the AWS cloud-based infrastructure is a series of cross platform APIs to help “developers easily integrate competitions natively into their games on mobile, PC and console”. GameOn works on any operating system and provides developers with the tools to bring competitive gaming to their titles with ease.

Infiltration joins Panda Global as their newest Street Fighter V competitor

During Final Round 2018, a big announcement accompanied the ongoing competition. Panda Global has welcomed a new member of their family — and its none other than Infiltration, a world-famous Street Fighter V competitor.
