VesperArcade offers examples on how to punish Blanka’s Rolling Attack in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Stop the trolling, before it stops you!

Sure, Blanka-chan starts off all cute and cuddly, but before you know it, there’s a crazy screaming ball of fur and claws flying straight at your face. The light version of his Rolling Attack is a tricky special move in terms of timing, and can be easily abused — but as long as you keep your cool and block that roll, VesperArcade has you covered. The video below offers examples for the whole cast on how to punish the Rolling Attack on block.

SoulCalibur VI event in San Francisco will present the latest version of the game with special guests Kayane and MarkMan

After a short break — peppered with exciting character reveals — it’s time for the Soul to burn once again and give players some opportunity to try the game in action. The latest build of SoulCalibur VI will be available for the public at an event in San Francisco at the end of March.

The Ring Out Event will feature special guests: famous French player Kayane and Bandai Namco brand ambassador Mark Julio. Musicians R3LL and Arius plan to take over the DJ sound booth. Attendees will get their hands on the latest version of the game, which, in addition to the characters we’ve seen in action, should include newly-revealed Ivy and Zasalamel as well as special guest character Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher games and novels.

The event is free as long as you reserve your ticket online at Eventbrite; there are event details there including address and time (the event is 21+). For the unlucky ones who aren’t in San Francisco area, Ring Out will be streamed on the Bandai Namco US Twitch channel from 7:30 PM PDT on March 29th.

PSA: Early bird registration for Evo 2018 ends on March 31

For anyone who’s planning to go to Las Vegas this summer for Evo 2018, here’s an important reminder for you: early bird registration for Evo 2018 ends on March 31, 2018.

Traveling to Las Vegas can get pricey for the uninitiated, especially in the summer. Early bird registration for Evo can help alleviate some of the cost — as anyone who registers before 11:59 PM PT on March 31 will save $20 off the regular price.

Evo 2018 will take place from August 3 to 5, 2018 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vagas, NV. This year’s event features a pretty interesting lineup set to appear on the main stage — including a number of hot new games.
