En Masse Entertainment has announced that the next TERA update, Godsfall, will be landing on live servers on April 17th. The content brings new “apex” skills that provide players with new ways to take on the game’s most challenging content.
World of Warcraft teams from the China Group will begin competing this weekend to earn a slot in the Mythic Plus Invitational to be held later this year. Thirty-two teams around the world will be competing in double-elimination, best-of-three events starting on Friday, April 13th with the China Group. The Asia-Pacific Group will compete next week; Europe Group starting April 28th and Americas Group on May 5th.
The King of Fighters XIV’s new version 3.0 patch is now live. While the main focus of the patch for many will be the four new DLC characters – Oswald, Najd, Heidern, and Blue Mary – it also brings with it a host of balance changes for the existing cast.
The patch brings both general system changes as well as character-specific changes, meant to improve the game’s overall balance. On the system side of things, the changes include fixing a bug allowing charged moves to retain their charge in situations where they shouldn’t, standardizing the properties of evasive rolls, and more.
The character-specific changes are also quite extensive, with a number of characters receiving multiple adjustments to a lot of their moves. In fact, they’re so extensive that the entire change log fills out 31 pages. Players looking to learn how their characters may have changed can check the change log directly from SNK.

The next Star Trek Online expansion is called “Victory is Life” and takes place in the Deep Space Nine timeline. Cryptic Studios has announced that twelve of the original television series cast members are being reunited to reprise their roles in the expansion.
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition has only been out for a few months, but the community had been voicing strong opinions about various characters’ Season 3 changes; in light of this, Capcom has released a mid-season balance patch which seeks to address some of the most common complaints about the game’s engine and the characters in question. This patch also includes various small balance changes to every character. Because of this, I’m preparing a series of videos on ShoryukenTube showing off the most important gameplay adjustments on a per-character basis.
For this first week, I’ve made a video describing all changes that are universal across all characters, as well as covering most of the returning SFII veterans: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy, M. Bison, Vega, Dhalsim, and Zangief.
