As previously reported, while the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is available now it the West, the game has been delayed in Japan. This was done so that they could address some fan feedback — apparently relating to the game’s lack of Japanese text, and character names.
While initially, the release date was marked as “to be determined”, we now have a release window for the game in Japan. Capcom has announced that the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will have a Fall 2018 release window in Japan.
“We apologize for the trouble this may have caused to those of you who were looking forward to it,” states producer Tomoaki Ayano, “but please wait a little longer for additional new information besides the release period.”
In line with this, the game will now be called the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection International when it hits Japan later this year.
Meanwhile, for the rest of the world, the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is now available for PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch.
