World of Warcraft – Blizzard Previews the 1v1 Dueler’s Guild

When Battle for Azeroth launches in World of Warcraft, players will be able to take part in a number of PvP activities including the brand new 1v1 Dueler’s Guild. Players will be able to queue for Dueler’s Guild from their respective faction cities of Boralus or Zuldazar and then head into battle against a single opponent in a fight to the death. Completing these duels will earn Conquest that will count towards the weekly “War Chest”.

Registration is now open for the Dead or Alive Evo Showdown 2018

Here’s your chance to prove yourself in the last DOA — before the release of the new one!

In addition to having Dead or Alive 6 stations available for fans to try the upcoming sequel, Team NINJA is holding a side tournament at Evo 2018 for the current iteration; you can sign up to compete in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round right now in the Dead or Alive Evo Showdown 2018!

Register here if you’d like to join this fight. DOA swag will be offered to tournament entrants, as well as t-shirts for attendees that try out DOA6. You need to have a pass for Evo 2018 to do either, of course; registration is still open for the main event as well.

Evo 2018 takes place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on August 3-5.

– Get Ready for the Next Battle: Nintendo Switch vs. PC

I am the proud owner of a Nintendo Switch, and can say without hesitation that it’s terrific! That said, I’m not ready to make the claim that it’s a better overall platform than the PC for gamers. With an unparalleled user base, not to mention platform longevity, the PC has been and always will be KING.

Anthem – Full Gameplay Demo Replay of ‘E3 Best Action Game Winner’

EA and BioWare have released the 20 minute gameplay demo for Anthem that was shown at E3 2018 in early June. The video features Lead Producer Ben Irving narrating the action that was shown during the E3 showcase. “Discover more about the transversal, combat, and teamwork on display as a team of four Freelancers complete the mission “Scars & Villainy”.
