alb3530 shares how to change unavailable machine settings in Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

Arcade machines are full of DIP switches and machine settings that allow arcades to tweak various aspects of the game. For example: game price and sound output. When Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection was first released, fans were happy to see that these machine settings could be toggled — then likely disappointed to find out some rather important settings available in the original machines were not there.

Well, it turns out those settings can still be switched, even if not through the game itself. With a little bravery (and the ability to edit XML files), you can still access those settings thanks to this run down from user “alb3530” on steam. Packz breaks down Cody’s viability in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for Frame Advantage’s “The Lab”

Packz , one half of Frame Advantage’s “In The Lab” hosts, broke into the Street Fighter IV U.K. scene with his strong Cody play. It is no surprise, then, that when Cody dropped for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, he would have some things to say about the newly elected mayor.

With arguably one of the game’s best anti-airs, a menagerie of great pokes, and stun potential for days, there’s plenty to like about Cody — but there’s plenty of weaknesses, too, such as trouble with fireballs and a poor back walk speed.
