Team Reptile shares first footage of Lethal League Blaze’s online gameplay

Lethal League Blaze, the sequel to 2014’s surprise sports-fighter hybrid hit Lethal League, is just around the corner. If there was any concern about the style or speed of Lethal League carrying over to 3D, developers Team Reptile just laid those fears to rest in the simplest way possible: letting the game speak for itself in the hands of the community:

If you’ve followed Lethal League competitive play at all, you’ll recognize the player names of Saxxy and Nobody from various events. In addition to being an excellent demonstration of the PC version’s online play, this is also a first competitive look at new characters Nitro and Doombox — the later of which was the original Lethal League‘s end boss.

Lethal League Blaze will arrive on the Steam platform on October 24th, and on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2019.

GameSpot Versus regulars show off their chops in the 3-on-3 team format in Super Street Fighter II Turbo

GameSpot Versus is notorious for running East vs. West style tournaments, where two large teams battle it out in Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Their previous event took a slight deviation from that norm, where they instead offered the same high-level play in a 3-on-3 team format with a single-elimination bracket.

With the myriad of players and characters on offer at the tournament, there is no doubt many things to see and learn from their play, and the level of intensity with every match is nothing short of spectacular.

Celebrate All Saints’ Wake in Final Fantasy XIV Starting October 18th

From October 18th to November 1st, Final Fantasy XIV players can have tons of spooky fun during the annual All Saints’ Wake festival. During the event, players can head to the Continental Circus in Gridania to take part in tricks AND treats that can be earned. These include Little Yin and Little Yang minions, housing items to suit the most discerning of haunted houses and much more. Also keep eyes peeled for a new themed contest that will be announced on the Lodestone soon.

Relive Omen of Sorrow’s special exhibition from Thunderstruck 2018

AOne Games  is currently gearing up for the launch of Omen Of Sorrow in just a few weeks. The lead up has seen them bring builds of the game out to various events all over the world, most recently Thunderstruck 2018 which took place earlier this month.

At the event, a special exhibition for Omen of Sorrow was hosted on stream. Here, a number of players got the chance to try the game and show off what this unique, momentum focused fighter is about.

For those who missed the stream, AOne Games has now shared the official replay of it on their YouTube channel. You can check this footage out below.

Omen of Sorrow is set to launch on PlayStation 4 on November 5.

2018 Tekken World Tour Online Event results for Asia, Europe, and New Zealand

After completing five tournaments for North America, Latin America, and Australia, the online phase of the 2018 Tekken World Tour moved into its second and final week, with a quintet of events for East Asia (which boasted 22 players), Southeast Asia (which drew 39 entrants), Europe West (with a staggering 218 fighters), Europe East (with 58 attendees), and New Zealand (which attracted 28 warriors). As with before, these events awarded the same amount of points as an offline Challenger Event for the top 16, so a top performance was crucial to rise up the leaderboards as the December Finals draw near. There was unfortunately no official stream for these battles, though some particular wars may be preserved in the Twitch archives of select players, as steaming your own matches personally was encouraged.

With the Online Events and the final Master Event of the year, SEAM 2018, now in the books, only two more stops remain until we reach the December Finals  They are the final Challenger event for Europe, Berlin Tekken Clash, taking place in Berlin, Germany from October 20th-21st, and the final Challenger event for the Americas, Canada Cup 2018, located in Toronto, Canada between October 26th-28th. Both will have the customary $1,000 pot bonus for Challenger events.

You Can Play Conan Exiles for Free on XBox One from October 18-24

From October 18th through October 24th, Conan Exiles will be free to play on XBox One. Complete your collection of Devil May Cry and Ghosts N’ Goblins Crossover Costumes in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

You’ve got another shot to go demon hunting!

Big news for anyone still looking to acquire the Devil May Cry and Ghosts N’ Goblins Crossover Costumes in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. While the third piece of Mech Zangief’s robotic attire is still currently up for grabs, with the final Gem available next week, Capcom has announced that once his Challenges are finished, the next wave of Extra Battles will see the return of previously-available Costumes for players who may have missed them.

Much like they did with Ken, R. Mika, and Ibuki’s Monster Hunter Armors, Capcom will be allowing players a second chance to add Dante Ken, Nero Ed, Gloria Laura, Sir Arthur Ryu, and Astaroth M. Bison, to their respective fighter’s wardrobes. Not only are they are allowing players to gain any of the four Gems they may have originally missed, they are also being sold–presumably along with the Level 1 Theme from Super Ghouls N’ Ghosts Crossover BGM– in a bundle that will be available on both PSN and Steam this Friday, October 19th. Though no price point was divulged, the Monster Hunter Crossover Costume Bundle will set you back $9.99, so that could be a good indication of its cost.
