Bethesda Opens Russian Office to Bring ‘Incredible Roster of Games’ to CiS Nations

Bethesda has announced that it is opening a Moscow, Russia office to join with other offices located in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Eindhoven, Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The new office will be charged with all sales and marketing in Russia and other CiS nations and will be headed by Simeon Chirikov as the Managing Director. Chirikov has previously worked with Wargaming and Electronic Arts.

Richard Garriott’s official profile on the Shroud of the Avatar site now omits the title CEO, something that has been part of the description since the game’s pages were first published. SEC filings name Garriott as CEO, though Delaware, where the original corporation paperwork was filed, does require an executive officer, not specifically a “CEO”. At the moment, Garriott’s profile only lists him as Creative Director and Founder.

The Blizzcon Gear Shop is open for business with all the goodies that will be on sale at the annual convention next month. Out of all the books, accessories, apparel and artwork, there is one thing that has us intrigued. Two t-shirts (one men’s, one women’s) and a poster are featured in the Diablo section with the title “Diablo: Reign of Terror”. What we DON’T know is what it means beyond the fact that Blizzard has teased “several Diablo projects in the works”.
