Italian Site Interviews New World Tester – ‘It’s an MMORPG Based on Territory Conquest’

Italian site MMO.it has sent word of a new interview that editors conducted with a person named “Alphano” who is currently a player in the New World alpha and is willing to break the NDA to speak about his experiences. In it, they ask him about his impressions of the game and, most notably, his impressions of the type of game New World actually is. Up to now, many have viewed Amazon’s upcoming (and very secretive) game as a survival title. However, Alphano has a different thought on the subject.

SoulCalibur VI Tech Roundup – Siegfried Soul Charge, Azwel Ground Pound loops, and more!

SoulCalibur VI‘s new soul charge mechanic has been the source of what is easily some of the most powerful looking and consistent combos we’ve seen in the SC universe. Married with cast wide flexibility and its no surprise that it forms a large part of the tech that’s coming out for the game — let’s jump in and see what the community has developed today!

Before you can do any fancy combos in SC, you need to know about proper movement. A veteran player like Hayate EIN is the perfect person to learn movement fundamentals from!

Siegfried’s wall combos not only hurt, but he seems to have an abundance of high damage options when he’s the one that’s cornered. Keep in mind your spacing!

You might feel like you’re seeing a lot of Mina players around — this is because Mina players have finally received a version of their character that hits as hard as everyone else. Look at this damage output!

Don’t get hit by Azwel’s mid projectile when he’s in Soul Charge.

To close out today we have some excellent RO and reverse wall combo options for everyone’s favorite blind Italian:

Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro and City Hunter’s Ryo Saeba join JUMP FORCE; game to release on February 15th, 2019

The JUMP FORCE combatants are already dead?!

Unveiling NieR: Automata’s 2B as the next DLC guest character for SoulCalibur VI wasn’t Bandai Namco Entertainment’s only piece of business at Paris Games Week 2018 in France. The developer also unveiled the next pair of characters to join the ever-growing roster of the Shonen Jump crossover fighter JUMP FORCE, as well as the title’s release date.

The battle for Earth continues to intensify as Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star protagonist Kenshiro, returning from J-Stars Victory Vs., and City Hunter’s lead Ryo Saeba leap into the fray. Along with them comes a new stage that sees Paris merged with Saint Seiya’s Sanctuary. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe also offered some commentary on the new warriors, who have vastly different approaches to battle.

“Ryo comes equipped with his famous Colt Magnum. He is a highly-skilled gunman that rarely misses and possesses extremely quick reflexes to dodge his enemy’s attacks. Kenshiro is an extremely strong expert user of the Hokuto Shinken martial arts, able to target and defeat his opponents swiftly… and brutally!”

This brings the number of represented franchises in the game to 10, with the roster size increasing to 25, including the likes of Dragon Ball’s Goku, One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy, Bleach’s Ichigo Kurosaki, and more.  Original antagonist Kane, designed by Akira Toriyama, will also be playable.

Finally, the game’s release date and box art, which features Goku, Naruto and Luffy, have also been revealed. We’ll all be able to “Unite to Fight” on Friday, February 15th, 2019. You can see the trailer and the cover below.

Are you excited for these two new challengers? Is their anyone else you’re still hoping to see join the JUMP FORCE roster? Tell us in the Comments!

JUMP FORCE will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam PC, on February 15th, 2019, with both standard and Collector’s Editions, as well as a Season Pass, which will add 9 DLC characters to the fight.
