Wargaming Exploring New Spaces with Hack-n-Slash ARPG Pagan Online

Wargaming has announced its partnership with Mad Head Games to develop a new type of title for the game giant. Pagan Online is an “intense action RPG” with plenty of hack-n-slash action all set in the pre-Christian era’s mythology. Players will face off against “hordes of savage enemies and ancient vengeful gods”. Wargaming is expecting Pagan Online to launch in 2019. Interested players are invited to head to the official site to sign up for beta testing events called “Trials”.

You Can Cosplay as Harley Quinn in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for Just $25!

Earlier this week, we mentioned that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds would be bringing in both Joker and Harley Quinn skins thanks to a partnership with DC. Those skin packages are now priced. Harley Quinn’s “Daddy’s Lil Monster” and baseball bat skins come in a bundle for “only” $25. The Joker Night Club Suit bundle is “only” $20. Both include new hair and makeup options as well. The skins will be available for purchase through January 30th.

Nexon Invests in Former EA Exec Patrick Soderlund’s New Venture

When EA’s Chief Design Officer Patrick Soderlund left the company in August, he did so to form his own company called Embark that will be “making games based on new and emerging technologies”. In a new press announcement, it has been revealed that Embark has received a huge influx of cash thanks to a strategic investment by Nexon. Nexon will own 33% of the company and will become the publisher for any titles developed in the future.

Fallout 76 Devs Address B.E.T.A. Feedback with Update Plans Detailed

The Fallout 76 Reddit has been updated with a post to thank B.E.T.A. players for their feedback and to provide a look at things that will be “addressed on or close to launch” and what is tabled until after the November 14th release date. Most notably, ultra-wide support will be available post-launch, an increased stash will be added in the future, exploits will be closed in a future update and more.

NCSoft Doubles Down on Mobile MMOs & Sequels – Aion 2, Blade & Soul 2 and More

NCSoft has conducted a South Korean media day to announce a number of new games including the much-rumored Aion 2 as well as Blade & Soul 2. While many of the announced titles are MMOs, they are all mobile titles. NCSoft announced Aion 2, Blade & Soul 2, Blade & Soul M, Blade & Soul S, and Lineage 2M. No word was mentioned about “Project TL”, a game that MMOCulture likened to a reboot of Lineage Eternal.

All But One Final Fantasy XV DLC Canceled as Game Director Departs Square Enix

Square Enix conducted a special live stream that many thought would be discussing future DLC for Final Fantasy XV. However, the announcement went the opposite direction. Fans have been informed that not only are three of the game’s DLC canceled, but Game Director Hajime Tabata has left Square Enix. Tabata has been working on FFXV since he took over from Tetsuya Nomura in 2013.
