Catch high-level Japanese Street Fighter EX2 Plus action in these a-cho archives

A-cho arcade in Osaka, Japan has been known as a hotbed for retro fighting games for a long time. If there’s an arcade board for it, odds are that it will be found in this mecca for retro fighters. Street Fighter EX2 is no exception, as the game receives frequent play at the establishment.

While Fighting EX Layer has proven to be a worthy successor to this late ’90s title, watching these videos show how much the mechanics of the new title differ. While you may see some noticeable changes – -the custom combo Excel system and the lack of back rolling on knockdown — many things, including loose juggles and cancelling supers into supers, remain the same.

Darkfall: Rise of Agon Devs Prepping the Embers of War Expansion

The Darkfall: Rise of Agon site has been updated with the cool news that the dev team is hard at work on an expansion called Embers of War. The expansion was born out of a laundry list of new features and enhancement the team was working on that they felt would be best deployed in a singular update rather than “piecemeal” over months.

See how Anna has improved in her transition to Tekken 7

Anna Williams is in the running for one of the most-polarized characters in Tekken 7. This offensive-minded stance character might have gigantic frame traps and powerful, unseeable lows, but her punishment game easily ranks among the worst in the game — there’s even some slow, snake edge-style lows that she can’t launch punish, since her fastest WS launcher is i18!

That means that if you choose to play Anna, you have to approach her in a way wholly different from the rest of the cast. If you’re interested in the DLC Willaims sister and don’t know where to start, this character breakdown from That Blasted Salami should help you get started with this unique, atypical Tekken character.
