The Atlas Twitter account has announced that the Early Access Steam launch of the game has been delayed by six days and will now arrive on December 19th. The delay is being provided to give the dev team “time to review every portion of it thoroughly”.

Valnir Rok’s Overhauled Combat System Goes Live
Valnir Rok, the Viking-themed survival RPG, has been updated to bring a completely reworked combat system into the game. According to the update notes, the combat system has “received a new netcode that will highly improve the overall performance for players”. To celebrate, the dev team is sponsoring a special streamer PvP tournament on Thursday, December 13th where a number of “influencers” will duke it out in a double elimination battle for dominance.

Earlier this month, the Chinese government revealed the formation of the “Online Ethics Review Committee” that would determine if games published in China violate current legislation with regard to social norms and ethics. As a result, the committee has been reviewing current games and has banned several games and placed several as “needing corrective action”. The list of banned games includes PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Ring of Elysium, Paladins, Fortnite, H1Z1 & Alliance of Valiant Arms.
