SNK’s IPO press conference reveals new Samurai Shodown will be multi-platform, The King of Fighters XV scheduled for 2020

SNK recently held an IPO press conference in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Korea. As part of this, they gave out updates on their plans for their various IPs, which included details regarding Samurai Shodown and The King of Fighters XV.

Regarding Samurai Shodown, while initially announced at a PlayStation 4 event, the presentation confirms that the game will also be coming to PC, Xbox One, and Switch. Additionally, it seems that it is slated to be released sometime during the second quarter of 2019.

As for The King of Fighters XV, not much was said about the currently-unannounced title, except that it’s been planned for 2020.

Fortnite Faces a Red Dead Impasse

I paid for season 6 Season Pass for two reasons. One, I wanted to understand this phenom. Two, I felt the aesthetics of 6 fit both the game, placing emphasis on its positives, as well as the time of year. Fall has always been known for two things, hunting season and gaming season. As weather forces us inside our thirst for quality games to head back out into the unexplored deepens. Fortnite served its purpose by quenching my thirst.

Former BioWare Developer Mike Laidlaw Hired by Ubisoft Quebec

Former BioWare developer Mike Laidlaw has been hired by Ubisoft Quebec as the Creative Director for an as-yet unannounced project. Laidlaw was most well-known for his work on the Dragon Age series of games while at BioWare and most recently has been a consultant on The Waylanders RPG. Could Laidlaw be working on the next iteration of Assassin’s Creed now that the series has made a turn to full-blown RPG? We wouldn’t mind!

It Seems that Fortnite Is Getting Creative Mode in Season 7 If the Leaks Are True

According to Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks Twitter, it seems that the game will be getting Creative Mode starting in Season 7. This means that players will have access to tools to create unique private islands as well as have the ability to host custom servers. Players can host limited time servers or even leave them up for others to join. Server selection will take place via a central lobby.
