North American World of Warcraft players can head into the game to check out today’s big update that (finally) opens Battle for Azeroth’s second raid. Battle for Dazar’alor sees the game’s Alliance faction taking the fight directly to Horde forces in the Zandalari capital of Dazar’Alor. Today Normal and Heroic versions of the raid open, with Mythic and Raid Finder Wing 1 opening on January 29th.
Star Trek Online to Receive Updates to Character Art with Mirror of Discovery
When Star Trek Online is patch with the Mirror of Discovery content expansion, they will also find a number of significant updates to character art in the game. A new developer interview has been published on the game’s site with FX Artist Robert Quinn where he speaks of the changes players can expect, including updated hairstyles to provide a more uniform look across all platforms and that yield better performance.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire to Receive Turn-Based Combat in Thursday’s Update
Obsidian Entertainment has revealed that a new way to play Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is coming on Thursday, January 24th with the next update. Once the patch is deployed, players starting a new PoE2 playthrough will be able to do so using a turn-based combat system. This allows players to choose between turn-based or real-time with pause modes, though the TBS mode will be considered “beta”.
