First PvP-Themed Update Coming to AdventureQuest 3D in March
The latest AdventureQuest 3D developer blog has been posted that lays out some of what players can expect when the big PvP update launches into the game. Primarily, the team wants its players to know that “PvP will be completely optional in AQ3D and the way we implement it will attempt to reduce the toxicity usually associated with it”.
Anthem Team Details Day 1 Patch that Addresses a Host of Bugs & Feature Improvements
when Anthem officially launches on February 22nd, it will come complete with a Day 1 patch that will come with a host of bug fixes and feature adjustments. Many of the issues being addressed in the Day 1 update are problems players identified during the past several days of Early Access. Most notably, those players “stuck” on the Tomb of the Legionnaires missions will find their experience greatly enhanced when chests found by anyone on a team will count for everyone.
MU Online Season 13: Part 2 to Launch on March 5th
Webzen has sent word that the next major content update for MU Online will be heading out the gate on March 5th. Players can expect “a host of new features” from Season 13: Part 2 including a level cap increase, a new Mastery Accessory Item, the Rage Fighter’s Archangel Weapon, the Maze of Dimension Rework and many other improvements.
Fallout 76 Devs Have Plans for Weekly ‘Wild Appalachia’ PvE Content Updates Beginning Soon
The Fallout 76 / Bethesda Blog has been updated with the latest look at what the team has been working on and what players can expect in the coming weeks. The biggest piece of news from the letter is the announcement of “Wild Appalachia”, a series of weekly PvE content updates that will comprise the “first big content drop of the year and spans the next few months”. Players can look forward to new quests, events and challenges, as well as new things for CAMPs, crafting “and more”.
Niantic Settlement Details Emerge in Pokemon Go Tresspassing Lawsuit
Niantic has filed a proposed settlement in California regarding a Pokemon Go trespassing lawsuit brought against the company in 2016. The complainant alleged that Niantic placed PokeStops and Gyms on private property that led to players trespassing. Under the terms of the settlement, Niantic would have to avoid placing PokeStops or items/creatures on private property. Owners will be able to fill out a form on the PG site to ask for the removal of PokeStops or Gyms within 40 meters of property.
Apex Legends Devs Have Booted Over 16,000 Players for Cheating
The Apex Legends Reddit has a beefy update from the development team that, among other things, informs the community that over 16,000 players have been identified and banned for cheating. Considering the game’s infancy, this is a big deal and showcases the commitment of the team to ensuring the game stays cheat-free. The letter also deals with the frustration many have felt with game crashes. To address this, devs have a plan to “improve stability, performance and QoL”.
