From The Gates of Ahn’Qiraj to Marshmello ? Live Events

This past weekend Fortnite hosted a concert. It was not the boring snooze fest of the Super Bowl, or even the Half-Time show. No, this weekend Marshmello played a live concert in Fortnite, if you were there then you saw something spectacular which had been attempted many times before and failed. This time, the ideas were right, the impact was strong, and everyone loved it. Now, let’s go back a few years to see where these ideas began. The death of Lord British is the best place to start.

A Host of Best-Loved RPGs Coming to Consoles in 2019 – Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights & More

Skybound Games has announced a new partnership with Beamdog to bring a plethora of best-loved cRPGs to consoles throughout 2019. Games include Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II, Planescape Torment and Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear. These Enhanced Editions will be sold through physical and online retailers. There is no mention of exactly which consoles, though it is presumed that PlayStation 4, XBox One and, hopefully, Switch are included.

Firefly Studios Announces Romans: Age of Caesar

Firefly Studios has announced its “cooperative grand strategy MMO” Romans: Age of Caesar. The game allows thousands of players to work to rebuild Rome in a classic city-builder game and to “trade with everyone on the same map”. The game features an infinite number of cities consisting of sixteen players each. The goal of each city is to work to establish government, form trading alliances and routes, and to create a collective army for city protection.

AMD Radeon VII Review – More Compelling Than Ray Tracing

It’s no secret that over the last two years AMD hasn’t been able to truly compete in the enthusiast graphics space. While they are taking market share away from Intel in the CPU world thanks to their incredible Ryzen CPUs (love my Ryzen 7 1700, by the way), the company’s flagship consumer card, the Vega 64, failed to capture the high end market as many consumers were hoping for.

Cheat Software Maker Found Guilty in Grand Theft Auto Online Case

A New York District Court has found Florida resident Jhonny Perez guilty of copyright infringement for developing “Elusive”, a software exploit tool used in Grand Theft Auto Online. The Elusive program was sold in packages anywhere from $10-$30. The finding comes with a hefty price tag too. Perez ows Take-Two $150,000 plus $70,000 in attorney’s fees. The defendant chose to avoid the legal proceeding which led to the court finding in Take-Two’s favor.
