In video games the idea of creating a sequel means you pretty much kill off the original, right? That is unless you use some methodology which works to bring the characters, design, and world up to speed in a new version of the game which adds in a much-needed boost. EVE Online Devs Dish About ‘Skills on Demand’ & Changes Coming to the Entire System

The EVE Online site has been updated with a new dev blog that lays out some big changes coming to the Skill System, particularly with regard to the skill training system to make it simpler and more convenient. Players will still obtain skillpoints through gameplay that are “fed into a specific skill to improve the specialization”, but the way core training skills will be obtained will be through “Skills on Demand”.

Red Dead Online Beta Updated with Tons of New Activities Including a Fishing System

For those who are looking for a bit of “chill” in Red Dead Online, today’s beta update may bring just what they’re looking for: Fishing! Of course, it behooves any astute cowpoke to keep eyes peeled for marauding bandits and other nefarious sorts, all of which may be ranging around in the new content that includes additional Showdown Modes and Target Modes. PS4 players can also exclusively check out Open Target Races and everyone can enjoy a cool 20% XP bonus.
