Yukadon is continually on the warpath. It seems he has taken Nash’s opening lines of, “If you stand in my way, I will kill you,” to heart, as he is taking on–and mowing down–all comers since his top 4 finish at Capcom Cup.
Next on his list seems to be Esuta. More well known for being one of Japan’s top Street Fighter X Tekken players, Esuta’s Guile is also no slouch in Street Fighter V. But is it enough topple the titan that is Yukadon?

For the longest time, the two perennial Street Fighter monsters from Korea that people think about are RZR|Infiltration and Secret|Poongko, with an occasional mention of Laugh in the mix. But that’s quickly changing, as two other names are becoming well-known within the circuit.
Both XYZZY and NL are quickly climbing people’s charts as great players. Having become quite the travelers across the tournament circuit, they are always in the conversation about making top 8 at the majors they attend. One thing that Street Fighter V has made happen over the course of this year is a slew of amazingly exciting comebacks. With the game’s mechanics allowing players to always stay in the hunt even with the magic pixel, all you need is smart use of your buttons and defense, and it can happen to you.
While all characters can mount amazing comebacks, some manage to do so better than others. Urien falls into that category. How strong is his comeback potential? To reference South Park: “We need a montage.”

As 2017 rolls around, so does the most prestigious Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike event in the world. This year’s Cooperation Cup, an annual 3rd Strike team tournament hosted by Game Newton, will boast a line-up of 90 teams comprised of 5 players each.
This year’s event is made even better by the fact that the tournament will be broadcast in English as well as Japanese.

In the Street Fighter IV series, Guile–along with any other character with charge Ultras and Supers–were able to execute their Supers or Ultras immediately following their dashes. This resulted in many things, full screen projectile punishes, as well as other punishes and combos that were otherwise not possible. For Guile, that allowed him to Focus Attack Dash Cancel into Ultra 2 after a flash kick.
For a long time, it looked like this technique had been removed from Street Fighter V. That is, until desk and TOOLASSISTED got their hands dirty. They found that if you perform three forward inputs in the dash, as opposed to the two that was required in SFIV, then charged dash Critical Art is possible with Guile. This opens up a whole new world to Guile mains.

This just in from the, “Don’t Ever Jump,” department: You should probably be thinking of different methods of approach against Juri in Street Fighter V Season Two. It does appear that Juri has some strong anti-airs in the new season. Not only that, but she can juggle for a solid amount of damage off a simple crush counter anti-air or air to air, as discovered by Kim Hyun-ku.
As a bonus, here is a solid 40% meterless Juri combo based off both normal hit and crush counter.
