In this match-up from Japan featuring Blanka and Fei Long, both are nearing a sliver of health, when Fei scores a knockdown to bring Blanka down to chip damage to win. With both having Super stocked, Fei launches his as a meaty to chip out. In an attempt to escape, Blanka executes a Super just in time to miss the meaty hit. Between two Supers with an insane amount of invincibility, which one wins?
A lot has been made of tech-chasing in the Super Smash Bros. Melee community. While some have called it optimal play, three-time Evo champion Armada has decided to correct this error.
Tech-chasing requires players to predictively follow their opponents on their knockdowns and recovery in order to punish them — and there’s still some risk involved. If you’re wrong, you yourself could get punished and lose a stock in doing so. Reads allow you to make guesses that may lose you spacing, but keep you safer in the long run.

If you thought Bell Media’s involvement with the FGC ended at Northern Arena Knockout, think again. Announcing a partnership with WB Games, their subsidiary Northern Arena has announced an online Injustice 2 league in Canada, titled theInjustice 2 Elite League. Using an online qualifier system, the top 16 players of the qualification process will be flown to Montréal, Quebec, for a chance to win a championship alongside $10,000 CAD.

With the recent addition of DLC characters in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the tech just keeps piling up. We know, it’s hard to sift through everything YouTube has to offer — so here’s the best of what we’ve seen so far in another solid roundup!
First, we have desk showing off some solid 9000 damage Sigma solo combos. He is a little reminiscent of vanilla Marvel 3, with the capability of using all four bars on level 1 Hypers that combo into each other.
rooflemonger has also still been in the lab with Sigma, finding that he could indeed improve on Sigma’s bread-and-butter combos that he displayed earlier.

October 24th is already a big day for Street Fighter V players, as the final Season 2 character — Zeku — will make his way to the game on that date. That isn’t all Capcom has packed into the update, though.
The Street Fighter team announced that three new sports-themed costumes will make their way alongside the character. Featured in this set is Zangief (who is donning a wrestling outfit reminiscent of WWE Hall of Famers The Road Warriors), Karin (who is geared up to ride in an equestrian event), and Kolin (who is ready to go for the gold in Pyeongchang, Korea, in some figure skating).
Strider Hiryu has been a popular character within the Marvel vs. Capcom series. While part of this can be attributed to the amazing play of Clockw0rk’s Strider/Sentinel/Doctor Doom team in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, the character’s mix-up heavy style has kept people interested in the character for decades.
