Capcom has released “Tamaya” — a web-based bomb mini-game starring Ibuki

Looking for a diversion from your 9-to-5 job until you get home and body online scrubs in Street Fighter V — and after 27 years, Minesweeper is no longer cutting it? Capcom was thinking about you when they developed their most recent release — and all you need is a web browser.

Named Tamaya, the game involves you picking up firework bombs and bringing them back to your base. You can also pick up black bombs and carry them to your opponents’ bases to wipe out their cache of bombs. The person with the highest amount of bombs at the end of the game wins.

This game supports four players and matches you up at random, and is quite addicting. Say goodbye to your productivity when you start to play.

Brook releasing revision 2 of the PS4+ Audio board

When Brook released their original PS4+ Audio Fighting Board in March of this year, it was met with a positive response, but still had some complaints. Most notably, the breakout board that came with it was not the ideal situation for players, as it used an USB Micro jack to handle the connect to the PS4. If you’ve ever tried to charge an Android phone, you know how easy it is to break that connection.

As such, the Brook team remained in the lab to make this board the best they possibly could, and they now have revision 2 of the board. Along with a ribbon cable connector that lines up with their Universal Fighting Board and all aftermarket ribbon cables, the board now flaunts a standard USB B connector, which is common on breakouts and passthroughs on custom sticks.

Jon “jonyfraze” Bonilla posted up a video detailing the new Brook board, which goes over all details of the board. No word on when it will hit retail yet, however.

Learn to fight like a millionaire with this Capcom vs. SNK 2 C-Groove tutorial

Capcom vs. SNK 2 is seeing a bit of a resurgence as of late. The game, however, has a lot of systems to learn due to the number of Groove variations, and can be daunting to newer players. Even if you learn your Groove of choice, you must at least have some sort of understanding of your opponents’ Grooves, so that you know what they’re capable of.

Fortunately, Silentscope has started a tutorial series on the game, kicking off by featuring the basics of the game as well as a tutorial on how to use C-Groove to its fullest potential. C-Groove is similar to the play of games like Street Fighter Alpha 2 — with a few variations from it that need to be taken into mind — and is a great Groove for people just learning CvS2.

Justin Wong discusses the potential of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite in his preview

Justin Wong has long been considered one of the greatest Marvel Vs. players of all time, so when he begins to speak about a game in the series, people listen. As such, Echo Fox made sure they gathered his thoughts on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite into a preview article on their website.

Justin doesn’t mince words by stating that he believes the game will be a rejuvenation of the Marvel series, stating, “I think the Marvel scene will come back out of retirement from MvC2/MvC3 to try this game out since it’s a new game and a new concept.” He also states that because of the changes in the system mechanics that, “defending in this game will be tough even for seasoned players.” However, the 2v2 assist-less aspect is what he feels like players will struggle with the most, saying, “I think the players will understand how to transition into 2v2. What I expect will give players a hard time is that they don’t have assists to back them up, or they have to constantly tag to keep the flow of the game in their favor.”
