Legendary SoulCalibur pro Hayate_Ein has gone through the trouble of translating the developer interviews for the most recent balance changes of SoulCalibur VI. If you were curious about a decision made in the latest version of the game — or about some of the changes to come — then you’ll want to check out his translation here.

Perhaps most interesting — and troubling — is the lengthy discussion around the controversial nerf to Siegfried and Nightmare’s ring out throws. There was speculation that this was to appease complaints from online-only players, and it turns out that was exactly the case. With all the good decisions made in version 1.10 — it’s worrying that this is the type decision making that could impact future changes.

Tired of opponents pressing buttons against your Sakura in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition? With a little bit of conditioning and awareness, you can use this to your advantage thanks to the small gap on Sakura’s special cancel-able normals.

Any errant trade with a special-cancelled Hadouken allows Sakura to link into decent damage, as TheoryFighter demonstrates in his latest video. Some of these setups vary in practicality — but this is still an excellent demonstration of the trade threat both in the corner and midscreen.

That Blasted Salami covers the changes of Heihachi and Hwoarang in Tekken 7 Season 2

In their never-ending quest to cover the 16,000+ changes in Season 2 of Tekken 7, YouTubers That Blasted Salami have tackled two new characters in today’s uploads: Heihachi and Hwoarang!

These two share more in common than just the letter H — both offensively minded fighters received considerable buffs to their bully ability. Heihachi picked up better tracking on his EWGF, and Hwoarang picked up a new mid power crush with the ability to hit-confirm its two hits. Mikado Arcade’s Street Fighter Carnival 12 shares VOD for Double Dragon tournament

Street Fighter Carnival 12 is Mikado Arcade’s multi-game tournament series for a wide variety of classic (and sometimes, obscure) arcade titles. This series is well under way, so start from the beginning if you want to catch up!

Today’s entry is the Technōs Japan-developed Double Dragon fighting game from 1995, whose rights are now owned by none other than Arc System Works.  It was the last Double Dragon game Technōs made before filing for bankruptcy.
